Day 1: Nairobi
You will be met on arrival and transferred to the Sarova Stanley Hotel for the night.

From the day it opened its doors in 1902, Sarova Stanley, a 5 star hotel in Nairobi, has been making history hosting royal safaris and a long line of living legends. The moment you pass through the century old revolving doors, you enter another world, the heat and bustle of modern Nairobi left behind as you tune into the cool Victorian elegance. Sarova Stanley has 217 guest rooms over eight floors in different categories. Dining facilities include the legendary Thorn Tree Cafe, Thai Chi Restaurant which has been awarded as the most authentic Thai restaurant in East Africa, Exchange Bar which was once the venue for Nairobi’s first stock exchange, Pool Deck Restaurant and 24 hour In-room Dining. The heated pool on the 5th floor adjoins a fully equipped health club with gym, steam, sauna and massage facilities.
Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Transfer to Wilson Airport for scheduled flight to the Masai Mara, where you will meet your private plane. The Mara is regarded as Kenya’s finest wildlife park. It is certainly the most famous and the most visited. It offers breathtaking scenery and prolific wildlife. The gentle rolling grasslands seem to teem with animals in every direction. This is particularly true when the migrating herds of wildebeest arrive, usually between July and October. Even when the vast herds have left, the park supports a year-round population of lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and zebra while the rivers are home to hippos and crocodiles. You will be met and transferred by to Karen Blixen Tented Camp for 2 nights. All meals, park fees and game activities.
Karen Blixen Tented Camp
Set on the bank of the Mara River, the location is spectacular. Throughout the day elephants, giraffes, zebras and impalas come for a drink while a large hippo pod rest lazily in the river. The camp gives a feeling of the early 1920’s era with beautiful and comfortable furniture. You will find that Karen Blixen Camp is a step back in time with the luxury of today. This is an eco-friendly luxury camp, that gives a sense of the exiting explorer days when the savannah was seldom visited and elaborate and comfortable camps were set up providing a luxurious and stylish retreat after each day’s adventure. The camp comprises 22 large luxury canvas tents each placed with undisturbed view along the Mara River. The stylish restaurant, the reception, the lounge and bar area and the gift shop with internet are set on a raised wooden deck and furnished with accurate reproductions of Karen Blixen’s private furniture to fit in with the cozy atmosphere. The beautiful laid swimming pool offers relaxation and even a little exercise in between game drives. The resident masseuse offers a wide range of wellness and beauty treatments.
Day 4 & 5: Amboseli National Park
Today you will be transferred with the group in your private plane directly to Satao Elerai Camp in Amboseli. Amboseli means “place of water” in Masai and although the park appears to be dry and dusty, numerous underground streams feed two clear-water springs in the heart of the park. The park is dominated by the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro and is an important homeland for the Masai. Wildlife is plentiful and elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, rhino, lion, leopard and antelope may be seen. One of the biggest advantages of Satao Elerai Camp is that being located on its own private conservation area guests have the chance to view wildlife in private surroundings. In addition the camp also offer guests the chance to enjoy spectacular bush sundowners, night game drives and game walks on the conservancy, activities that are not available to the lodges located within the park. After lunch at camp, you visit a typical Masai village and get an insight into the life of this traditional tribe. The following day enjoy a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park and an afternoon game drive through the conservation area. Overnights Satao Elerai Camp. Satao Elerai Camp
The camp is located in a quiet, unspoiled, unique setting on a 5000 acre private conservation area 12 kms south east of Amboseli National Park at the foot of Africa’s largest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. The camp looks down onto the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mt Kilimanjaro in the other direction, giving clients what is arguably the best location of any camp in Amboseli. There are 9 luxury mountain facing tents and 5 large luxurious lodge style suites. Large sliding doors open out onto your own private veranda overlooking the plains below and Amboseli National Park. Each room has its own bathroom with a view, designed using natural rock and acacia wood the bathrooms have a design and feel unique to Elerai. The facilities are supplied with hot running water provided by eco friendly solar units.
Day 6: Tsavo West National Park
Today you will be transferred with the group in your private plane directly to Severin Safari Camp in Tsavo West. The park lies 150 miles from Nairobi, just off the main Nairobi/Mombasa road. The area is scenically attractive with landscapes ranging from mountains, river forests and lakes to wooded grasslands. Wildlife is plentiful and includes all the major big game. Bird life is also prolific with over 600 species identified. Fed by underground streams, the Mazima Springs are a major attraction, both for wildlife and tourists. In the afternoon, you go on an excursion to Mzima Springs and Poacher’s Lookout to enjoy the beautiful sunset while having a glass of sparkling wine and canapés. Overnight Severin Safari Camp. All meals, park fees and game activities.
Severin Safari Camp
This eco friendly luxury camp s hidden in the remote Kitani Wildlife area of Tsavo West National Park overlooking the Mt. Kilimanjaro and offers a unique combination of adventure, wellness and relaxation for the sophisticated traveler who loves romantic pampering and unique wildlife experiences. In the hot and dusty landscape with rolling plains, leafles bushes, twisted baobab trees of Tsavo West National Park, the camp is a small haven with beautifully constructed tents, amazing dining, crystal clear pool and a lovely spa. After a refreshing swim and a soothing massage, guests are treated with fantastic food at the lovely restaurant, whilst viewing the game coming to drink at the floodlit waterhole.
Day 7 & 8: Tsavo East National Park
Discover the secrets of the African wilderness by foot in Tsavo West. You are accompanied by a Masai, who shows you around. During the tour you learn a lot about the ecosystem, the multifaceted bird life and other park inhabitants. After breakfast you fly with your luxurious Cessna to Tsavo East. After lunch you experience your first game drive here. Tsavo East is one of Kenya’s oldest and largest National Parks. Only a small area is open to the public, the rest is true wilderness. Biologically diverse, the area consists of open grasslands and plains alternating with savanna and semi-arid acacia scrub and woodlands. Wildlife includes elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and a wide range of plains game.
The following day enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch on route to Luggards Falls on the Galana River. These amazing falls are in fact rapids where Galana River disappears into a rocky gorge. The beauty of the site is the multi coloured rocks carved over centuries by the water into a variety of fantastic shapes. The rapids, becoming ravaging floods during the rain seasons, plunge into a large pool below where giant crocodiles are resting and lying onto sandbanks. Overnights Satao Camp. Satao Camp
Satao Camp takes you back to the classical Out of Africa safari with green canvas tents, bush style showers and personal and friendly service; evoking a feeling of the true ‘Old African’ experience. The location is indisputably unique; nestled beneath the shade of the old Tamarind trees and just in front of a very favored waterhole for a breathtaking view ofthe many elephants coming daily for a drink and a refreshing wash. The camp has 20 classic canvas tents, a dining room, reception, gift shop and an observation tower overlooking our waterhole. The tents are all en suite with unique African furniture, comfortable beds, electricity and a spacious bathroom with hand wash basins, flush toilets and bucket showers. Every evening or on request our staff will bring you hot water for the most wonderful safari shower experience. All tents are carefully positioned and have a private verandah from which one can enjoy the scenery and the many elephants that comes to drink, wash and groom each other during the day and the night.
Day 9: Depart
After a final morning game drive, you will be transferred on Severin Air to Mombasa for a beach extension or to catch your onward flights. Breakfast.
