Day 1: Arrive Arusha

You are met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to your lodge located just a short drive from Arusha town center in the midst of a working coffee farm. Overnight Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Arusha Coffee Lodge lies cradled in the endless acres of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation. This exclusive, boutique hotel lodge has been designed around the farms’ original plantation homes, radiating the warmth and invitation of the old colonial plantation homes historically distinctive to the coffee plantations. Accommodation is in 18 plantation houses lavishly furnished, featuring split-level living room area and a private deck patio. Offering every guest amenity and fancy, the Arusha Coffee Lodge is the place to relax and rejuvenate before or after a Tanzanian Safari. Laze around the swimming pool, enjoy a sun-downer at the Safari Bar, unwind after a delectable meal in the lounge with a good drink and a fireside chat.

Day 2 & 3: Tarangire National Park

This morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a tour of the coffee plantation. After lunch at your lodge, you are transferred to the airport for the short flight to Tarangire National Park. You are met upon arrival and take your first game drive on the way to the lodge, arriving at Tarangire Treetops in the late afternoon. All meals.

Your aircraft is a custom-crafted Cessna Caravan fitted with bespoke leather seating and a total of just 8 seats in all. The configuration of your aircraft allows maximum comfort whilst offering excellent viewing opportunities through the aircraft’s windows. The Safari Cruiser vehicles offer a similar experience, with premium game viewing from all the seats.

Tarangire Treetops

Tarangire Treetops sits alone in a private game reserve bordering Tarangire National Park and the Maasai Steppe amid rolling, baobab-studded hills with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley wall. Treetops has a magical never-never land feel appealing to any with a sense of fun. Distinctively furnished blending natural materials and contemporary décor, the 20 tree houses provide guests with a unique safari experience. Perched up in the Baobab and Marula trees each tree house has a large private balcony, an exotic double shower and, with a floor space of 65 square metres, some of the largest rooms in East Africa. Encasing a vast Baobab tree the spacious and tranquil dining room, reception and lounge overlooks the swimming pool and a waterhole that sees a constant flow of visitors. With the natural beauty of the hills and dry river beds begging to be explored, guests can enjoy guided walking safaris, day or night time game drives and the enchantment of bush dining.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands

After your morning game drive, you return to the airstrip for the quick flight to the Lake Manyara airstrip. On arrival, our team from The Manor at Ngorongoro will meet you and take you on a visit of an authentic African market in the township of Karatu. From Karatu, drive through the rich farmlands arriving for high tea at the beautiful Manor at Ngorongoro. Overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro. All meal, local drinks and laundry included.

The Manor at Ngorongoro

Located adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area within the 1500 acre, Shangri-La Estate, The Manor at Ngorongoro is reminiscent of an elegant, up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-style of architecture. The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its 20 luxurious guest cottages will be one of the first luxury safari experiences in the region to fuse East African safari hospitality with old world Afro-European architecture and décor. Incorporating all the flavors and romanticism of Africa, each cottage, will feature private courtyards, decks, traditional bathtubs and rain showers, as well as the well-loved fireplace. The delightful interiors are sure to evoke a sense of old world charm and well being; appointed with period furnishings and plush interiors depicting the style and finesse of a seasoned and discerning traveler. Each cottage commands fantastic views of the landscapes, surrounded by fragrant flowering gardens and age-old trees. The careful positioning of the cottages ensures that every guest experiences the natural beauty of the estate as well as the privacy and intimacy characteristic of an old world manor home.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater National Park

A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart after breakfast with a picnic lunch to explore what is commonly referred to the world’s largest wildlife zoo. You travel first to the rim of the crater at 8,000 feet and then descend through the early morning mists 2,000 feet into the crater for a game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera and also one of the world’s seven natural wonders. Due to its size and diversity, the crater is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs to open grassland and sandy dunes. It is an awesome wildlife experience. After a picnic lunch you will visit a nearby Maasai village and return to the Manor for dinner. Overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro. All meals, drinks and laundry included.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Today, you have the option of visiting the Lake Manyara National Park or staying at the lodge to explore the estate. Choose from a host of activities including horseback riding, cycling, an estate tour or a spa treatment or, you may opt to just relax. After lunch you will be driven to the Manyara airstrip for your onward flight to the Serengeti, where upon arrival you will be met by your Migration Camp guide. The afternoon will be spent on a game drive with arrival at Serengeti Migration Camp in time for sundowners. You will spend the next 2 nights at Serengeti Migration Camp where your stay is in a luxurious safari tent. All meals, drinks and laundry service.

Migration Camp

Hidden among the rocky outcrops overlooking the Grumeti River, the 20 spacious tents have been carefully placed to provide privacy and blend into nature’s architecture among the raw splendor of the surrounding bush. Surrounded by a 360 degree veranda deck each tent provides 45 square meters of spacious floor space. The split level lounge, bar, restaurant, sundecks and swimming pool are perched on the outcrops and overlook the vast and rugged landscape.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park, exploring this famouse eco-system and all that it has to offer. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best known wildlife reserve in the world. Within its boundaries are more than three million large animals living in total freedom on the “endless plains”. The savanna plains are broken up with small rock outcrops called “kopjes” and small rivers. The park comprises some 5,700 square miles. It is most famous for the annual migration that takes place every year beginning in early June. Huge herds of wildebeest, estimated at over a million, wind their way north in search of life-sustaining permanent water.Overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp. All meals, local drinks and luandry included.

Day 8: Depart

After breakfast, you have a game drive en route to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha arriving mid-day. Upon arrival you will have lunch in Arusha Town center before your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departing flight. Breakfast and lunch.
