Camp Moremi


For the classic African safari experience, look no further than Camp Moremi in Botswana’s world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Camp Moremi is situated on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon in an area well known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities.

The elevated Moremi Tree Lodge is the dazzling central point of the camp and houses the luxurious main lounge, a wildlife reference library, dining room and cocktail bar, shaded by giant ebony trees and overlooking the Okavango Delta's Xakanaxa Lagoon.Two dining areas serve buffet-style food. Breakfast, brunch and high tea are served in the thatched boma; dinner is savored under an ebony canopy in the dining room and nightcaps are enjoyed beside the warmth of the glowing fire pit. Guests can also relax by the secluded swimming pool or marvel at spectacular sunsets from the 
lagoon-side viewing deck.


Tents at Camp Moremi


There are twelve tents, with twin or double occupancy. Guests will enjoy the luxurious seclusion of East African-style safari tents, each one set on a raised teak deck, each featuring an en suite bathroom, robe and slippers, private teak viewing deck, tea and coffee facility, 220V Plug points for charging equipment and a safe. Accommodating a maximum of twenty-four guests, Camp Moremi ensures exclusivity and privacy in a tranquil environment.


Activities at Camp Moremi


Guest activities include morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many different ecosystems that the Moremi Game Reserve has to offer. Explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat for a chance to enjoy the picturesque waters of the Okavango Delta, with its kaleidoscope of bird life.

Experienced guides will introduce you to a whole new world of wildlife; watch a Leopard stretched out lazily in the branches of a Mopane tree, herds of Elephant grazing under a canopy of green or a pride of Lions camouflaged in the long grass. Moremi Game Reserve’s incredible wetlands support a vast number of antelope, including Impala, Kudu and Waterbuck. The majestic Fish Eagle and vivid Malachite Kingfisher are frequently seen and even the rare Pel’s Fishing Owl makes an occasional appearance, to the delight of guides and guests alike.
