Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Set high on a plateau which forms a natural boundary to the Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge enjoys uninterrupted views of unspoilt bushveld, spectacular African sunsets and an on-site waterhole. A complimentary shuttle service transports guests to the Victoria Falls and town center on an hourly basis throughout the day.

All the rooms at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge have digital safes, IDD phones, remote control air conditioning, hairdryers, fans, mosquito nets, extensive range of customized toiletries including insect repellent, message pads, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, and extra length beds. 5 of the lodges Deluxe double rooms can accommodate a roll away bed for a child under 12 years.

Each standard room has either a double bed or twin beds, a bathroom with a luxury bath and separate shower, and a balcony overlooking the National Park and facing the sunset. The spacious deluxe rooms each have a mini bar and private balcony with prime views of the waterhole. Five of these rooms accommodate a roll away bed for a child under 12 years.

The King Suites are duplex style, with an open plan lounge leading onto a private balcony with spectacular views. This level also has a mini bar, variety of coffee table books and a guest toilet/ cloakroom. An open staircase leads up to the bedroom and en-suite raised bathroom with a large luxury bath and separate shower cubicle with massaging jets. There are telephones in lounge, bedroom and bathroom.

The Boma – Place of Eating provides a unique cultural experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa, together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people. It is open for dinner 365 days a year. Guests staying at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge enjoy a courtesy shuttle to and from The Boma, whilst those from other hotels may be transported for a nominal charge.

When it comes to Victoria Falls restaurants, the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa located within the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge’s central hub is guaranteed to impress. It is a split level a la carte restaurant with impeccable service, mouth watering meals, a wide selection of fine South African wines and incredible views, which makes dining here an experience fit for royalty.

The open-plan Buffalo Bar is two flights down from the MaKuwa-Kuwa restaurant and is a perfect venue for all-day refreshments as well as sundowners, pre and post-dinner drinks, with a full snack/ light meal menu, cocktail list and wine menu.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge boasts a number of resort activities where guests can experience an enhanced bush, wildlife and safari experience, without having to leave the property!

An Activities desk is situated in the lodge so you always have a friendly face to assist you in choosing an activity that will best suite your day. Some of the resort activities include hide sits (where we get you closer to the animals), guided safari walks, nature trails and bird watching, swimming pool with sun deck, award winning restaurants and bars, private bush dinners and many more.

Many Victoria Falls Safari Lodge activities can be found on its outskirts including bunji jumping, game drives and Night drives, golf (on a ‘Gary Player’ designed course), river and dinner cruises and white water rafting.
