Hotel Awa

Hotel Awa is a unique family project located in Llanquihue Lake’s basin in Chile. This remote location offers the utmost privacy with luxury accommodation, full spa, daily activities to be scheduled at your leisure and incredible cuisine with a gastronomy focus.

Consulting Chef Mathieu Michel, together with head chef Oscar Bermudes, have created a menu that celebrates the Chilean flavors and offers a wonderful culinary adventure in every meal. Local produce and the curiosity to discover and integrate new ingredients and convert them into a showcase of local culture and cuisine is at the heart of the Awa restaurant and bar. The creative menu has combined the bounties of the Chilean culture with world wide flavors, offering an avant-garde cuisine based on traditions. To compliment the fine cuisine, the bar invites guests to relax and share their experiences by a warm wood burning fireplace, tasting some of the best wines, hand picked by the hotel, of Chile.

The spa concept was designed by Gabriela Vallejos, who based the experience in the five elements present in nature, so that they flow harmonically in our body, always enhancing water in all its magnificence. The spa is 2.400 square feet, and its equipped with a double massage cabin, a semi Olympic heated pool with 2 lanes, sauna, hamman and whirlpool.

The superior rooms allow you to have one super king bed or two twin beds. All the rooms have view of Llanquihue Lake and Osorno Volcano. They are equipped with free wifi, minibar, security box, fireplace and tv. The bathroom has shower and whirlpool separately.

All of the activities at Awa are private and include fly fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, trekking, bird watching, volcano ascension and cultural activities. Other activities at an additional cost include water plane tours, national park full day excursions, archaeology and nature tours, and full day Cayutue Lagoon visits.
