Waterberry Lodge
The Lodge
Waterberry Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia about 22 km from Livingstone towards Kazungula and Victoria Falls. The main double-story lodge overlooks the Zambezi and the game park beyond. Upstairs the main lounge is open to the high thatch with plenty of seating and magnificent views. Meals are served in the dining area or alfresco on the sun terrace and deck overlooking the river, or guests can have private dinners on their terraces or one of the secluded pontoons or platforms around the lodge. The large and welcoming swimming pool, set in the center of landscaped lawns, has a small plunge pool at to the shallow end, making it safe for children.The floating pontoon on the river is perfect for sundowners, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the view.
The Rooms
Waterberry Zambezi Lodge has a range of comfortable accommodation, close enough to Livingstone to enjoy all the activities there, but far enough away to escape the crowds and feel a real sensation of being in the wild. The double, twin or family bedrooms are open to the high thatch (nice and cooling in the hot sun), with comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms, mosquito nets overhead fans and air conditioning. Most have private decks overlooking the river or our private dam that are great for sundowners, private dinners, bird watching or just sitting around with a good book.
