Day 1: Buenos Aires

After arriving at the Buenos Aires (EZE) International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. European in appearance, but Latin through to its soul, Buenos Aires will certainly impress any culture-oriented visitor. A vibrant city, with a variety of architectural styles and colorful neighborhoods, it’s common to find porteños (locals) dancing tango in the streets, relaxing with a cappuccino or glass of wine at a sidewalk cafe or dressed to the nines heading to a concert. Settle in your hotel and rest up for your first full day.

Day 2: Buenos Aires - City Tour

In the morning after breakfast at your hotel, you’ll head out on a unique, private tour exploring Buenos Aires with the interpretation of an expert guide who uses four parks and plazas to set the stage for understanding the historical, political and social context of this vibrant city. Argentina’s capital city of Buenos Aires offers a pulsating and eclectic atmosphere of sophistication. It is here that local customs are infused by the proud traditions of football and the sultry tango. Buenos Aires is dotted with many fine eateries, a thriving arts and culture scene, packed nightclubs and world-class accommodation. The city is flanked by the Rio de la Plata, the world’s largest estuary, and the lowlands of the Pampas. Tonight, explore Buenos Aires’ amazing culinary scene on your own (we can assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations), take in a Tango show or rest up for your adventures tomorrow.

Day 3: Mendoza

Enjoy your last breakfast in Buenos Aires before your morning transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival to Mendoza, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to get settled in before heading out to visit the Trapiche Vineyards in the Maipo Valley to learn about the area, it's rich array of wines, visiting the cellars and enjoying it yourself with a wine tasting.

Day 4: Mendoza - Wine Tour

After breakfast you will be met by your guide for a full day of wine tasting and exploring the Uco Valley, wineries of Pulenta, Saletien and Andeluna. Return to the hotel for dinner and to rest up for tomorrow.

Day 5: Santiago, Chile

Enjoy your breakfast and the beautiful surrounding winelands this morning before you transfer to the Mendoza Airport for your flight to Santiago, Chile. On arrival you will be met and taken to you hotel to settle into your room. This afternoon and evening are at your leisure to explore Santiago and the wonderful local cuisine and vibrant culture of the contrasting older, centrally located neighborhoods and the modern uptown neighborhoods of this megapolis. The Capital of Chile, vibrant Santiago is a bustling city tucked away in a valley surrounded by the Andean foothills. Founded in 1541, Santiago is now a thriving metropolis dotted with fine eateries and top-class hotels. It is the only city in the world that offers skiing high up in the majestic Andes, followed a mere 45 minutes later by walks on the beach and surfing in the Pacific Ocean. Guests visiting the Chilean capital are in for a heady mix of exclusive boutiques, sprawling shopping centers, magnificent architecture and discerning residential areas. Dinner is on your own tonight. We can make reservations ahead of time for you at some of the top recommended restaurants. After your meal enjoy the vibrant nightlife and perhaps take in a show before heading back to your hotel.

Day 6: Cachapoal Valley

A visit to Chile wouldn’t be complete without exploring its flourishing wine country. After breakfast this morning head northwest of the city to visit the Veramonte Vineyard for a bike tour of the vineyard, wine tasting and lunch.

Perfect climatic conditions of hot summers, cool coastal breezes and gentle rainfalls ensure bountiful grape harvests that create delectable varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Carménère, the emblematic grape of Chile which hails from France and is now exclusive to Chile. Cushioned between the Andes and Coastal Mountains lies the Central Valley where the first vineyards were established in the colonial era. After lunch continue onward to the incomparable Hotel VIK in the Cachapoal Valley for dinner, and overnight.

Day 7: Cachapoal Valley

This morning you have an opportunity to indulge in the various activities offered by the Vik Vineyard including horseback riding, biking, trekking and lunch at the Tapas Restaurant. After lunch enjoy a tour the vineyard and taste the amazing wine produced by the VIK.

Day 8: Depart

Enjoy the last breakfast of you trip, and a leisurely morning, before your transfer to the Santiago Airport for your journey home or onto your next adventure.
