Day 1: Lima

Upon arrival at the Lima Airport, you will be met and transferred in a private vehicle to your hotel.

Day 2: Lima - Personalized City Tour

Today, after a breakfast, enjoy a private tour of Lima. Customize your tour depending on your interests, and choose from our Classic Lima City tour, Colonial & Modern, Ceviche Making Class & Pisco Sour Tasting among others. Tonight experience Lima’s vibrant nightlife and gourmet cuisine with a dinner at Astrid & Gaston or Central.

Day 3: The Sacred Valley

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco you will be welcomed by your private guide, who will escort you in a private transfer to the Sacred Valley. Today, we suggest you take this day to relax and enjoy the surrounding views and only make a couple of stops en route – the altitude slows many travelers down, but starting in the Sacred Valley does alleviate some of this possible discomfort. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and peacefully setting at Sol y Luna.

Day 4: The Sacred Valley - Stand Up Paddle Board & Kayak Piuray Lake

After breakfast, transfer about an hour by road to Chincheros and Piuray Lake. This beautiful lake offers, spectacular sceneries, perfect flat water and plenty of birds. Start with a yoga-inspired stretch and warm up, before a safety briefing and explain the paddling technique, on land. Once in the water the idea is first to get acquainted with the balance, paddling techniques and making turns. You’ll get the hang of it!

After the activity, relax and enjoy the spectacular views, while your delicious picnic is prepared - fresh organic vegetables, potatoes, corn, ham, smoked trout, appetizers & more. Later, enjoy a special and traditional ceremony of marriage blessing before returning to your hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Machu Picchu - Hike to Machu Picchu Reserve

After an early breakfast, transfer to the train to Machu Picchu, which hugs the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. As the valley becomes a canyon, the cloud forest begins to appear with a marked vegetation change as you enter the Machu Picchu reserve. Here, we exit the train and cross a hanging bridge at KM 104 heading into the Chachabamba site. After a brief visit to the site, begin a three hour ascent to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna, an important spiritual site. The Inca Trail cuts across the ridge above Machu Picchu to finally reach Intipunku, The Sun Gate, from where the trail winds downhill. The classic vista into the lost citadel, above the Urubamba River, will be a unique experience. It is the most exquisite way to see Machu Picchu for the first time! After a short hike through the site (you'll have more time to explore the site tomorrow) head to your hotel to rest and relax from your day's active adventure.

Day 6: Machu Picchu - Guided Citadel Tour & Huayna Picchu

After an early breakfast, a half hour bus ride will bring you to the citadel for a guided visit which on average takes three hours as your guide walks you through the different sectors of the hill-top citadel, with astonishing views, learning about the aspects of Andean life taking you back in time. Afternoon return to your hotel. Your guide will say good-bye this afternoon. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Cusco

Morning free to enjoy the spa or relax and enjoy lunch at your hotel. This afternoon return by the luxurious Hiram Bingham train with dinner on board. Arrive to Poroy and transfer into Cusco to your hotel .

Day 8: Cusco - Guided City Tour

After breakfast, meet your guide and head up the winding road to Sacsayhuaman, a vast fortress built on three platforms, overlooking the city of Cusco. From here we continue to Kenko, a site of worship with a high rock carved into the shape of a Puma which dominates a series of canals, passageways painted with animals. Enjoy a romantic picnic lunch in the forest near Sacsayhuaman. The road continues uphill to reach the sites of Puca Pucara and Tambomachay and their Inca baths. Return to Cusco, and visit the main sites around the Plaza de Armas - The Cathedral, The Inca walls with its 12 angled stone and the Sun Temple. of Koricancha inside the Santo Domingo Temple. A romantic dinner awaits at Cicciolina in Cusco.

Day 9, 10, 11: Puerto Maldonado - Guided Amazon Tour & Excursions

From Cusco depart for your Amazonian adventure! A short 25-minute flight from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado brings you to the Peruvian Amazon.
