A visit to Chile wouldn’t be complete without exploring its flourishing wine country. After breakfast this morning head northwest of the city to visit the Veramonte Vineyard for a bike tour of the vineyard, wine tasting and lunch.

Perfect climatic conditions of hot summers, cool coastal breezes and gentle rainfalls ensure bountiful grape harvests that create delectable varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Carménère, the emblematic grape of Chile which hails from France and is now exclusive to Chile. Cushioned between the Andes and Coastal Mountains lies the Central Valley where the first vineyards were established in the colonial era. After lunch continue onward to the incomparable Hotel VIK in the Cachapoal Valley for dinner, and overnight.

On day 7 indulge in the various activities offered by the Vik Vineyard including horseback riding, biking, trekking and lunch at the Tapas Restaurant. After lunch enjoy a tour the vineyard and taste the amazing wine produced by the VIK.

Sadly on day 8 it’s time to depart. Enjoy the last breakfast of you trip, and a leisurely morning, before your transfer to the Santiago Airport for your journey home or onto your next adventure.
