Dear Future Safari Travelers,
It is not too early to think about travel protection!
Every year we hear from clients who must cancel their safari due to unforeseen circumstances. Though we are bound to the 25% non refundable fees mandated by camps and lodges, we work hard to keep cancellation fees as low as possible. However, we do incur significant costs that we must pass on. If you are forced to interrupt your trip after it has begun, the fees will usually exceed your total trip cost.
Travel protection not only helps you to protect your investment of travel against cancellation it also provides you an array of coverage during your trip such as emergency/accident care, medical evacuation, travel delays, lost or stolen luggage and more.
Most African Safari Co. adventurers follow our advice and purchase travel protection. We work closely with Travel Insured, a trusted partner for boutique travel operators, and clients have been very satisfied with their support.
